Member’s tee bookings – clarification (hopefully!)

Further to the previous announcement ref tee bookings, please see the below summary that should hopefully clear up a few issues for all members, especially those members playing on a Saturday morning (i.e; what was known as the ‘roll up’);
The Club will maintain it’s preferential tee time slots on a Saturday and Sunday morning. The intention for the trial is to procure for Hertsmere Leisure more accurate footfall figures, an efficient booking system for all, the need operationally to know that every individual on the course has booked (H&S) and as stated at the last committee meeting, during winter the need to maximize tee times. Therefore, all members of Rickmansworth Golf Club will be required to book a tee time before they play.
The Club will retain 6 tee times on a Saturday morning – starting from 07.36 – however we must as a club be pro active to ensure consistent usage of these times. On a Sunday morning we will have the option to book tee times as normal from 08.00 until 08.56. Players should book or cancel as early as possible. It would help staff enormously if this is actively encouraged.
There is no requirement as to who plays with who and at what time, so long as a reserved tee time has been made by the individual on the booking system. Each player must check-in so the booking can be changed to “Attended” on the system. The tee times should be utilized efficiently by the Club to avoid gaps.
Hertsmere Leisure’s new Motivate4 Card scheme is coming soon to enable all members to book their tee times at least one week in advance. The allocation of the new cards that will replace the current loyalty card is now being administered. These do not affect season ticket holders. Details of the new schemes are available in the pro shop and details will be shortly be posted at site. For any further questions, please refer to any of the pro shop staff.
