Ricky Seniors’ M4 Winter League report

RGC Seniors’ inaugural season in the M4 Winter League ended with something of an anticlimax as the final match of the season, away to Chartridge Park, was cancelled – a victim of the cold weather. As Chartridge Park are unable to re-arrange the fixture and since it was something of a dead rubber it was recorded as a tied match. That left Ricky at the bottom of the table of five clubs having won two of four home matches and lost all three away matches until the agreed tie with Chartridge. A total of nineteen different players turned out for the seven matches played; the stalwarts were Archi Munhir and Eric Erabadda with five appearances each.

There will be changes for next season, not the least of which will be Rob Camilleri leading Ricky’s efforts. We will be playing three new clubs next year, retaining the fixture with Haste Hill but playing three new ‘Parks’ – Farnham, Richings and Stockley.

Thanks to all those who turned out this winter and the best of fortune to Rob for next season.
